New Online Newsletter Gives Hope for Non-Techie Entrepreneurs Wanting to Boost Business Using the Internet
Alameda, CA (PRWEB) January 31, 2008 -- Many entrepreneurs are not comfortable with the internet and the new technology it presents. The are are overwhelmed at all of the options and don't want to deal with internet marketing other than having a website. A new online newsletter, ClickTips, will share short and simple pieces of information to demystify the world of the internet for those who do not consider themselves technically oriented.

Unless they happen to really be interested in the internet marketing world, most of them don't have time to sift through the volume of information available about internet marketing and technology. As a result, these business owners are not taking advantage of some great time saving tools or the inexpensive marketing tools available."
Because most entrepreneurs also have a limited budget, as a first step toward reducing this knowledge gap, the company created a free bi-weekly ezine, ClickTips (http://www.onpointcommunicationsolutions.com/ezine_011608.html), to provide short articles outlining terms and concepts of online marketing. Short videos that explain how to actually do things like set up an RSS feed and why you want to in the first place are coming next.
"Although I don't believe most entrepreneurs need to know the technical details of tools like RSS, I do believe they need a source that will sift through the information, let them know what they need to know and what they can ignore and present the information in a quick and easy format", says Waring.
Many sources offer information about the technical aspects of the internet but sometimes they are difficult to understand and take a lot of time to study. The other disadvantage Waring notes is most information doesn't put the technology in perspective for a business owner.
"I plan on offering bite size pieces of information that will not only fit into the busy schedules of entrepreneurs, but will also show them how the information can benefit them as an entrepreneur, either by saving time or by increasing their visibility. "
