To help implement this industry leading program Wellmont Health System has turned to DiagnosisONE to deploy its state-of-the-art Clinical Decision Support (CDS) system.

D1.Pathway is a cutting edge, comprehensive web service that allows care providers to monitor a patient's history, medications, vital signs, laboratory and radiology data and to issue severity based actionable recommendations when certain events occur. These recommendations alert care providers to perform clinical tasks that prevent errors and enhance care such as in preventing falls and improving care around heart disease and other chronic conditions. At Wellmont D1.Pathway will be integrated with over seven different McKesson and Cerner systems to monitor specific events in real time and generate P4P, quality and safety alerts in response to those events.

D1.Pathway is the only CDS product available today that can help providers address all the major clinical workflows, including point-of-care, pre-encounter, post-encounter and periodic care analysis as well as supporting the alerts and reporting needed by pay-for-performance quality initiatives. The product is an HL7-based web service that can deliver alerts and guidelines to EMR systems, provider portals, faxes and phones. D1.Pathway's superiority over other products lies in the breadth and depth of its medical content as well as cutting edge technology that ensures that only the most appropriate, time sensitive alerts are sent to responsible care providers.
