Fun As A Core Value Of Business. Inc. Magazine recently provided a cover story entitled, "Fun! It's The New Core Value: Good for Employees, Good for Customers, Good for Business." One of the articles features Greg Whitstock, CEO of the pond-supply company Aquascape. Greg is serious about fun. He designated twenty percent of his nineteen million dollar facility for racquetball, soccer, basketball, a batting cage, game rooms, a hot tub and eight nap rooms. And yes, they get a lot of work done. Sales are growing steadily, last reported at 56 million. Feeling good just makes us better, no matter what. Feel good now, for as long as possible. Goodfinding will make you better at everything.

The Angel's Advocate. In his book entitled Primal Leadership, Daniel Goleman tells of an "angel's advocate." We are all familiar with the "devil's advocate" who pokes holes in whatever new idea is on the table. The "angel's advocate" simply looks for reasons that any new idea presented just might work. Support and encouragement require more courage than fault finding and criticism. Be brave, and support the new ideas you hear from those around you. Be braver still and support your own new ideas. Reach back into that creative mind of yours and bring up those brainstorms that have been brewing for a while. To quote Albert Einstein, "If at first an idea is not absurd, there's no hope for it." Spark the genius inside, and encourage her to speak.

The Winning Argument Is Always Love. In his best-selling book How to Argue and Win Every Time, well-known attorney Gerry Spence makes the surprising statement that "The winning argument is always love". This statement stretches the mind a bit, particularly coming from a litigator. For one thing, we don't usually think of arguing or winning in connection with love. But if it's true that love is who you really are in your spiritual core, then basing your argument on love is simply being yourself. The statement also speaks to the idea that love is the most powerful force in the Universe. It takes great courage to be loving and to work for a win-win outcome. Be brave, open your heart and take the most compassionate route. It could be the key to realizing your dreams.

The Best Investment You Can Make. If you knew the amount of love, support and energy that is available to you all of the time everywhere you go, you would never worry or fear again.
