Long Island, NY, Business to Donate Portion of September Revenues to Local Charity - Tender Loving Care Foundation to Benefit
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) August 15, 2007 -- The Intelligent Office of Garden City, declaring September to be "Back-to-Business" month, is going to donate 25% of the revenues it generates in the rental of its on-demand offices and conference rooms to the Tender Loving Care Foundation. The Tender Loving Care Foundation supports the neo-natal intensive care units within the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System.
"This idea came from our staff", said Roger Kahn, owner of the Intelligent Office in Garden City. "September is traditionally when business people put the summer behind them and focus on the big push to year-end. We are looking to bring more people into our facility to use the hourly offices and conference rooms, and the staff recommended that we donate a portion of the revenues we generate to a local charity. We had a tough time choosing among all of the local charities until Jeanine Castagna, a long-time client, came into the office one day. One of our receptionists remarked that Jeanine and her husband, Ed, were heavily involved in the Tender Loving Care Foundation. I immediately knew that TLC was going to be our beneficiary."
Jeanine Castagna, an attorney specializing in adoption law, and founding member of the Foundation, said, "The Tender Loving Care Foundation provides a brighter, stress-free beginning for all families whose children may one day be in need of neo-natal health care services. New parents have no idea what to expect when they are informed that their new-born will need "critical care" or will have to be housed in a neo-natal intensive care unit. We are pleased that the Intelligent Office is teaming with us during Back-to-Business month."
Back-to-Business Month will comprise various promotions designed to bring more users into the Garden City office of the Intelligent Office, the nation's leader in virtual officing. The month will be capped with a networking event on October 4 that will feature wine tasting and a silent auction. All proceeds from the event will benefit TLC Foundation.
