A Couple of Chicks Bring Internet Marketing Workshops to Nova Scotia's Tourism Community
Halifax, Nova Scotia (PRWeb) March 28, 2007 -- A Couple of Chicks e-Marketing will be contributing on April 2, in Oak Island and April 4th in St. Ann's Nova Scotia, to a new series of workshops on topics such as marketing, technology, quality and leadership development.
The Nova Scotia Masterclass Series is presented jointly by the Nova Scotia Tourism Human Resource Council, and The Nova Scotia Department of Tourism, Culture and Heritage to help tourism business owners and managers continuously improve the quality of experiences they offer to today's travelers.
"We are thrilled to be invited back to Nova Scotia to expand on the Internet marketing and distribution concepts we presented at the Annual Tourism Summit in December," said Alicia Whalen, E-Strategist and Co-Founder, A Couple of Chicks e-Marketing. "We look forward to working directly with operators to assist them in maximizing their online presence now - before the busy summer season begins."
Along with A Couple of Chicks e-Marketing, the Nova Scotia Masterclass Series also includes workshops from Banff Executive Leadership, the Ritz-Carleton, and the National Quality Institute. Program participants will learn from some of North America's top facilitators in leadership strategies, change management, tourism innovations, quality process and e-marketing.
"Tourism operators in Nova Scotia must continually strive to become more productive and innovative to compete in the global market," said Mary Dempster, Chair of the Nova Scotia Tourism Human Resource Council. "These workshops will position tourism business managers and owners to successfully lead their organizations into new stages of growth and quality development."

The Nova Scotia Tourism Human Resource Council was formed in 1989. It is the coordinating body for human resource development in Nova Scotia's tourism industry.
